redirect all forum link

im using vbulletin forum and in past i used a coded to redirect my old forum to new one using .htaccess redirect code how can i redirect my entire forum entire links i know its easy to redirect domain root from .com to .net but vbulletin forum has so many sections and topics right now im using this redirect code in my .htaccess file Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule (.*)
but it redirect only my domain root and not redirecting the sections please help to know how can i redirect complete forum links
